- Quinn is a transgender film critic who has been published for over nine years as the Keene Sentinel's Film Columnist, where she's written about topics such as the immersive empathy of "The Passion of Joan of Arc" and the melancholic horror of "The Blackcoat's Daughter."
- She's also had freelance pieces published with Bloody Disgusting, Dread Central, Shuffle Online, and more.
- Give Quinn any chance to discuss horror movies or "Saw" lore and she'll very much jump at the opportunity.
Experience
Quinn's spark for writing originated in high school, which eventually resulted in writing for The Equinox as their chief Film Critic. Since then, her indelible passion for writing has resulted in published pieces across multiple outlets, a mentorship with a silent film accompanist, and being accredited by the Cannes Film Festival. She believes each new piece is a chance to become a better writer, and if her passion engages with even one reader, it's worth it. Quinn received a national award from the Society for Collegiate Journalists in addition to being awarded Equinox's 'Columnist of the Year.'
Education
Quinn graduated with a bachelor's degree in critical film studies at Keene State College. She also helped operate the campus movie theater in association with the KSC Film Society.
